Installing an electric water heater correctly requires more than just connecting the wiring and filling the tank. Proper installation includes verifying that your home's electrical panel can support the unit's amperage draw, confirming the breaker and wiring are sized correctly, setting the thermostat to a safe and efficient temperature, and ensuring the pressure relief valve is correctly installed and vented. Skipping any of these steps leads to performance problems and potential safety issues down the line. Water Heater Co. handles electric water heater installations in Portland, OR with the attention to detail these systems require.
We help homeowners choose the right tank size for their household a unit that's too small means running out of hot water, and one that's too large means paying to heat water you're not using. We also discuss heat pump water heaters as an option for homeowners interested in energy efficiency and long-term cost savings, as these units use significantly less electricity than standard electric tanks while qualifying for available rebates and tax credits. Whatever direction you choose, Water Heater Co. installs it properly and makes sure it runs right from the start.
